HDU is impervious to weather, won't split, crack, warp or delaminate in harsh conditions. Our carved signs are either hand carved or CNC routed and painted with a 2-part epoxy enamel automotive paint. Then the letter is either hand painted with 1-shot sign paint or gold leafed with 23 karat patent gold.
Sandblasted signs are similar to the carved signs but instead of letters that are carved, these letters are typically raised. A CNC Rubber Mask is prepared and applied to the sign material then sandblasted. This process blasts away material not covered by the rubber mask leaving the letters and graphics raised.
